Spring

We are having some lovely weather. We took a quick trip to the zoo. I don't think we have been since last October. We really enjoyed the afternoon. It was a very bright sunny day. Yesterday we went on a hike to a beautiful waterfall. I will try to post those pics today or tomorrow. The Treasures had a ball wading in the water. I just have not had any free time for visiting or posting. I am staying up late, yawning, to get this post in.

One Caitlyn tidbit I wanted to blog and remember...
She loves for me to pretend to be her Barbies voice or her Globaby. She has watched Hermie movies by Max Lucado and heard the narrator speak as God's voice. So now at night she will ask me to "be God" and talk to her. I try to say things He would say! Sometimes I say things like "it makes me so sad when you fight with Jacob" or "I want you to love one another" Tonight I said, " You are such a good girl and I love you so much" and she hugged me and said " I lub you so much too, God"

Now that Ryan is driving, he has taken Caitlyn to visit Nana and Papa, a couple of times without me and she has done well. This is big for her. (and me;)) She stayed almost 2 hours last time before asking to come home. Its so wonderful to have my parents live so close by. Its only a 5 min trip. What a sweet sound to hear her come up the stairs and call, "Mom, I'm home!" Brings a huge smile to my heart...

These camels ran up to the fence when we came by them. Caitlyn said they wanted their picture taken.;)

  • What a wonderful day for your kids! EK would LOVE to go to the zoo! She loves animals. As a matter of fact, her birthday is coming and she wants a horse party- go figure- she has never been close to a horse. We are having a pony come so all the kids can get a ride- hoping she doesn't freak! So happy you all are having such a great week!!!
    Blessings!
