a few more pics from last week

We could truly stay here all day sometimes, they just love it...so peaceful, so many things to explore.

a cute squinty smile...

I love this sweet girl down to her toes:)

I always love her serious looks....

After she fell in the water... She got her legs wet, not her entire body. She was still sad for a minute though...

so happy on the way to the car...

phew, I just got back from an hour and a half line to vote. 3 little people really were good and deserve a hand from mommy today. I never had to correct anyone once! An hour and a half in a boring line with leapsters in tow. They truly were surprisingly on extra good behavior. Not even a mini melt down, not a shove, not an unkind word to a fellow sibling, just sweetness. Just had to give them a little brag. I was so proud of them. I began helping people ( I can't help it, I love to help!) figure out which line they needed to be in because it was very confusing for people and the Treasures warned me to stop talking to strangers;)
little update:
Daddy just called and there was NO wait for him at the same place! How is that possible!? Can you say no fair!

Great pictures, Connie!! I LOVE the one of Caitlyn walking along the curb!!!
Wow... a 90 minute line! We got lucky and had no wait at all. I am chicken, though and planned on going back home and returning later if there was a line. My 2 do not do so good with that stuff. : )

Way to go, treasures!! Mommy should be proud!
I just love the photo of Jacob & Chloe on the rock. It looks like they are just going to float away on their little boat.

How amazing that your children were such angels! I am certain that mine wouldn't wait peacefully for even 10 minutes.
Another advantage to life in a small town is no lines!

I was lucky to have no wait also and it was my first time being there with no children--JiaLi had school. Hmm, no fair that you had to wait that long. I was happy to miss the crowd.
Love the pictures--just so cute!

OHH you must be proud of them. The advantage of living in a very small town. We just walked in on the first day of early voting and voted.
I love these pictures and Lottie would love this place. HUGE sticks...they are her most favorite!

I love the embarrased picture - totally captured the moment.
Amelia said on the way out the door this morning she wanted her Leapster in case it was boring. I forgot it. We only had a 35 minute wait. Thank goodness!

Hi Connie~
Your pictures are all so tranquil. It looks like such a nice, relaxing place to go with your treasures.
I enjoyed reading about you a couple posts ago. Always fun to learn more about blog buddies (and inspirations) who share more about their kids than self. The clean car thing has me WAY intimidated, though. Do you still love me anyway?! :o)
Your pictures are beautiful as always. Thanks for sharing your treasures.
Love,
Lisa

I was laughing when I read about how well behaved the girls were in line. I was in line (early voting) and the line was 90 minutes and it was cold. Some woman made a rude comment (political) and I should of taken your childrens advise because I did talk to a stranger. In fact I blasted the stranger. I guess I wasn't very good in line ; (
