I have been SO busy, I have not had a second to visit anyone or post myself. I will try to visit everyone tonight and see how your holiday was. We had a great Fourth of July just hanging around the pool with family all day. We usually go to the beach for the 4th but decided this year to go later in the fall when its a tad cooler and the rates are down too. We spent the money we would have spent at the beach on screening in under our deck. Its been a fun project. We finally finished it up over the weekend. The kids are SO glad daddy is finally finished so that he will swim with them in the evenings instead of work. Once he starts a project there is no stopping him. We want him to casually work in spare time; and kind of enjoy it, but he works night and day 24-7 until its done. He did a great job...
The way our house sits, it stays so comfortable under the deck, even when its 100 + degrees.
The kids want to eat, sleep, do schoolwork, basically everything in there now. They are loving it.

  • Beautiful pictures and beautiful arrangement (and of course, a beautiful subject)! Makes me wanna go out and get my girls a giant multi-colored lollipop.

I think they'd be done after about 10 licks.

  • I just love the huge, colorful lollipops for photo props. We used the red and white ones in our Christmas card photos. Your photos look great. Caitlyn looks adorable, as usual. Another good thing about these is that kids can never really finish them, but they are sure happy giving it a try!

p.s. I so want to see pics of your finished deck!

  • I just found out I won the auction for your adorable Whispers of the East skirt for Starfish Children's. I can't wait to receive it! I just stopped in to say thank you for offering such an adorable skirt for a great cause. I LOVE your digital scrapbooking. I've just been thinking about starting, do you recommend a good software to start with?
