Our Monday
Summer has arrived. We hit the 90's this week. It was a beautiful day but hot and humid.
I took the kids to a new book store. Jacob found several Little Critter Books he has never seen. He was in Book Heaven all day.:) He LOVES Little Critter and will read them in his bed at night for as long as you will let him.
The auction I spoke of a few posts ago that supports children in China that need surgery One Child at a Time, has alot of new items. I thought and prayed about my part of the auction and I felt the right thing to do was give Daleea some money to make one of her beautiful creations. I noticed people seemed to love the boutique outfits that were auctioned but I certainly can't even sew a button much less make something grand. Please take a look, at the reversible outfit made by A Mother Singing. Daleea decided to share the money with Meredith Teagarden and she made a darling outfit! Daleea says hers is on the way and I am sure it will be adorable as well.
100% of the auction money is gong to children that need surgery in China.

We love Little Critter too! Li Li just discovered him and now when ever she wants to follow in Big brother footsteps she says, Me TOO!
I can't believe how hot is is already! We are going to be spend a lot of time by the pool :D

Oh what precious little expressions on sweet little Caitlin's face! Love it! And...Miss Chloe is just beautiful....and Master Jacob...is so handsome! They are all such precious little treasures!!!
Oh...Chelsi always loved the Little Critter books too....she had a couple of "Lift-a-flap" Little critter books...and honestly If I taped those flaps back onto the book once I did it a thousand times! She absolutely wore them out!
Sweet Memories...of Little Critter!
IT was rather hot here too yesterday....and supposed to be most of the week! However...our water levels are still low due to the severe drought we experienced last year...and in May of this year.....we still are "Dry docked"....and can't get our boat into the water until TVA raises the lake levels...which they say they will not do until we get"significant rain".

I love to see Jacob reading! It warms my heart & I can't wait for Carter to start reading, on his own! He is so lazy & he really has no idea how much the world will open up when you can (and DO) read!! Uggh.

Oh how I love to see those sweet faces... the girls are just so beautiful and Jacob's little face is just lit with excitement reading his book... how exciting!
your pics are fantastic. I still don't have it down like you do... thank you again for the donation and for spreading the word! I just love "Meredith's" design... I am so excited for you to see your latest creation... but, I only have the pants done... would you believe I spent probably 8 hours or more on just the pants... I am so pittiful... it takes me forever. lol Of coarse it takes me forever to design them... I sit and stare at the fabric etc. lol anyway hopefully I will have it done over the weekend... I always think I will get it done way before I actually do. Ohhhhh I hope you like it.... I wanted it to be extra special for you!
