Happy Easter
Today I am so thankful for what Jesus did for us over 2000 years ago. I celebrate the Resurrection of my Lord. He is alive! He is amazing, He is my Lord. I am thankful for His presence in my life.
We had so much fun this morning decorating our eggs and cupcakes and talking about what Easter is about. Its a lovely day here and we are going to go out and enjoy it. It was a crisp cool morning. Here are some pics of our morning. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend. Please sign up for the giveaway below if you haven't already. I will draw two names next Wednesday.:)
I think I am going to wait about taking pics of the girls in their Easter dresses until its more Spring like here. Easter is so early this year and the yard just isn't quite the background I want yet. I have some work to do but am looking quite forward to getting out and gardening. I am so ready to make it pretty.

But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you."
Matthew 28:5-7

The pictures are adorable:D Easter is quite early, though last year it snowed on my eggs that were hanging on the bushes!! We, too, love this time of year & love the plan that God set out since the beginning of time. I love that it was NEVER a Plan B. Jesus Christ, the cross, resurrection - was always Plan A. And because of that plan, we have the greatest gift of all - Life.

Praise God for the season to celebrate the miracle that makes us Christians!
I love the way you spent your day and if I do say so, those cupcakes look delicious - no chance you'd pack them up and give them away, huh?
Connie, Have a blessed Easter.
our love to you!

Beautiful post Connie and as always beautiful pictures! As Sara said, I too love that there was never a plan B...don't you think the angels in heaven were saying, "Okay, you son will die and you are leaving the disciples in charge of telling the world about you? Are you sure there is no plan B??" I'm so thankful He died for me.
