Spring, my favorite time of the year...

We began getting our yard in shape Saturday; it was an absolute perfectly beautiful day. 70 degrees. The Treasures were out from 9AM until dusk. They had a very big day playing. Its always amazing to me the fun they have and how they are just as happy to play in our yard as go to the park. They just love the sunshine and being out in it. When I work in the yard they ignore me and play; but when Daddy is out there working, he is outnumbered. They are right on top of him "helping". Its so funny to watch. They are grabbing his shovel, his gloves, throwing mulch everywhere but where it needs to go. He gets this helpless look on his face. :)

  • I am catching up from the weekend! Happy Easter to you--I like your idea of waiting for better weather to try to get photos--I had such bad luck this weekend! We have many little helpers here that LOVE to help Daddy outside;) Can't wait till we have some signs of spring:)

  • I am happy you got to have some time out in the sun and yard to welcome your favorite time of year.

I know you enjoy life to the fullest and you not only teach your treasures how to but everyone you come in contact with, too!

    Hugs,
    Lisa

  • I just love your photos. You take awesome pictures and have such darling subjects. It will probably be awhile before I can take some green photos here. No dandelions in sight. Just some minor flooding and lots of mud. I want your weather!!! :-)

  • Love your Easter pictures.
My children are pumped about all the dandelions in the yard.
I had about 30 rose bushes delivered for the front of the house. I'm excited!
I missed the sunshine over the winter.
Tell the kids the cupcakes looked really YUMMY!

  • Spring is my favorite time of year, too! The area where we are doesn't quite know it's Spring, yet. : ) It is right around the corner, though!

Gotta love when the kids decide to "help" Daddy! Gives us a few minutes of Mommy time.

  • it is my favorite time of the year also ... the boys jump out of the car after school and the girls run right w/them to the back yard till i make them come in ... the girls so desperately want to swim and i can't get them to understand what COLD WATER means, so i say stick your feet in ... but they can't do that w/out their bathing suits on ...it cracks me up !!! have a great week !!!

  • So funny, and a cute post.

I wish I liked working out in the yard.

I'm an indoor shopping kind of girl, but I do have to pull weeds when needed. That's about all I can handle.

  • Hey Connie. You continue to amaze me with your talent with the lense. Unbelievable.
