give away time!

Its give away time!!!
I have two bloggy friends raising money for their adoptions. They are doing magazine fundraisers. Hoping For Six and Ladybugs and Dragonflies. I have decided I will give away a subscription to Family Fun a magazine we love. Great recipes for kids, great craft ideas for kids, great trip ideas too. I have a sweet friend that adopted from Guatemala when I did the first time and she keeps my FF magazine coming every year. Such a blessing. I will also give away one for Better Homes and Gardens. That way I can support both my buddies. Leave a comment if you would like the chance to win :) Even lurkers come out of hiding and enter! Just keep in mind I will have to have your address to purchase the subscription. I will email the winner for that private info. Lala has a link on her blog for candle sales as well. They are great candles seriously. Someone gave me one for my birthday and it became a favorite. Woodwick candles. They have a wooden wick and crackle like a fire. They have some great scents to choose from; my favorite is the biscotti so far. So if you need a gift go to her blog click on the link and she will get a little kickback towards her adoption. If you need a magazine subscription for yourself or to give away go to their blogs as well please. Thanks a bunch! I will announce the winners in a week :)

    Have you ever thought about turning the blog into a book for the kids to look at one day?
    I'm going to start my son (he's in the 1st grade) a scrapbook blog from his year in first grade. He's had sooo many wonderful things that have went on for him this year. I'm going to make a private blog just for him and then at the end of his year, I'm going to turn it into a book from "Blurb" and give it to him. I can't wait to see the finished product!

  • My mom just today mentioned the Family Fun Magazine. She used to get a little magazine from Disney that I guess they decided to discontinue so they sent her that one.

    We aren't eating popsicles outside yet but we have been in the backyard planning out where we will put our new little blow up pool. We started our backyard project a little late in the fall so need to get moving now so everything is ready for the summer!

  • Hey there - I just had to stop in this afternoon for the Easter message I knew would be there. You are such a blessing to this blog world. I also needed to see some of that bright sunshine and those beautiful kiddo smiles. Would you believe it if I told you we woke up this morning to a blizzard? 'Tis TRUE! So much for the pretty Easter dress Hope had for tomorrow. OH well, maybe we'll make it work with a sweater. We'll see.
