Happy Monday

I ran to Academy to purchase Dad a pair of shoes and we passed Princess fishing rods. If it has a Princess on it, we need it...
I am so excited for Ryan. He has been job hunting. Its a little tougher to find a job at 16 than 17. Alot of places require you to be atleast 17. At the top of his list is Chik* fil* A*. He put an application in at the one closest to our home but has not been called. Last week however, one of the stores that is a bit further out called Daddy to 4 for a maintenance issue that was in our related field of business. While repairing their issue Dad mentioned Ryan and his desire to work there to the manager and explained that he is a home-schooler with good grades and pretty flexible with hours etc. and that Ryan had applied close by but had not heard back... The manager called today and asked for Ryan to come in tomorrow for an interview:):)! I know working there will be such a wonderful learning experience for him. I love that they are closed on Sunday. I love that they always seem to have exceptional young people working there with super attitudes. And I love that he will earn some spending money:)!
updated to add: He did get the job:):) They sent him to an orientation class immediately, which teaches you about food handling, dealing with the public.:):) He said orientation was filled with Christian values and bible verses. Have I mentioned I love Chi*k fil *a? Yea Ryan:) So proud of my oldest Treasure. :)

He allowed me the honor of snapping a couple of quick pics to update his facebook profile. ;)

Oh, Connie! I so hope he gets the job... there is something about a first job. You either learn to love it or laugh at it. Hee hee.

Pishing rot!! How funny!!
Nolan and I sit around with our boss and talk about how wonderful CF is, from a customer service perspective. We love that they are closed on Sundays, too. (Except when my hubby has a craving for a sandwich and me for their Sweet Tea. LOL) I hope he gets the job!

I am still waiting for Chelsea to get her first job. I have been waiting since she turned 16 and she will be 19 in a few days. Not looking too good, huh? lol! She has no desire. My Ryan will be 16 this summer and he is already talking about getting a job....so I am hopeful
about that situation. : )

Have a wonderful week, Connie!! Let us know how Ryan makes out. I also love how they are closed on Sundays! Yay for them!!!

Connie I am praising the Lord that Ryan got such a wonderful job opportunity!!!!!!! That is the Lord's hand of favor all over your sweet son! What a blessing, and thank you for sharing the good news!
I know yall have a place to fish, but if you ever want a change of scenery, they just re-stocked our neighborhood lake! We took a picnic there today and it was so heavenly. Maybe yall could come for a picnic soon! But...will you take the fish off the hook? ;)
