a wonderful day

We had SUCH a fun day yesterday. We had amazingly beautiful weather, around 65 degrees and sunny. We went to the park and played for hours. It felt so good to be outdoors in the sun. Today its in the 40's again but we are so thankful for yesterday. I found myself more excited about a warm day than Christmas. :) I was really needing a break from the Holidays and just have a routine kind of fun day.

another serious girl... They have a merry go round thing at the park and it was SUPER muddy with puddles around it. I did not want the kids muddy, so I said we could not play on it until next time when it was dry.

  • Oh Connie...I haven't seen your face in so long! Just beautiful! We had the same kind of day yesterday and met some friends there and just played and played. I realized we are such outdoor girls that we had really been cooped up way too long!

  • Connie, I love those photos of you and your two gorgeous girls! Looks like such a fun day, you must have been tummy to the ground to get some of those shots you did, isn't it tough when the kids want to dissect something and all you can see is the top of their heads? I've done contortionist moves to try and get face shots - you did a fabulous job!
