Friday

Jacob and Chloe discovered an empty shoe box perfect for collecting bottle caps. This kept them occupied most of the morning.

I think my children could throw rocks in a lake ALL day. They love it.
Running and skipping what a life...
Caitlyn did this for a long time today. I finally got dizzy myself from following and snapping pics. I loved her serious manner as she tried so hard to balance.
I have had another busy week, not alot of time for blogging and visiting. I have not really been in the mood for scrapbooking either. hmmm.... I don't know why but I just haven't...
We ran to the park this morning and then to lunch. I have shopped a couple of days for fall clothes for everyone. Haven't found alot for Chloe yet. Plenty for Caitlyn and Jacob. We have plenty more warm days here so there is no hurry. We are supposed to have rain the next several days. I have tried to stay out all day today.
One of our travel mates from our China adoption has to undergo a pretty serious operation this week. She will be hospitalized a few days. I had the pleasure of meeting Jolyn before travel even though I did not go to China. Please keep her and her beautiful family in your prayers. She has a wonderful husband, Steve...a beautiful daughter named MaeLin, and a son with the most gorgeous, sweet smile... Matthew. I love all of the families that traveled when Danny did. Another Red Thread Blessing... Travel Groups. You share a bond forever. We might not talk everyday but when one of us needs anything we are there for one another. We have a special bond.
Hope your weekend is special!

Great pictures of the kiddos! I love that they love to play in nature. Looks like you might have a little gymnast in Caitlyn. She has such focus on the balance beam.
It is hot in Tennessee, too! We are in desperate need of rain. Our lawn looks awful.
I will keep your dear friend in my prayers.
Happy weekend to you and the treasures!

Connie - love your heart friend...love when you lift precious folks for prayer. We will keep Jolyn in our thoughts and prayers.
Your pictures are, as always, gorgeous.
I slip into those moods, moments, times when I can't seem to feel like doing things I usually love... for you, perhaps just the desire to be out and about enjoying the sunshine and those priceless treasures:)
Have a wonderful weekend.
Love,
Heather

Oh Connie, I will pray for Jolyn. I agree wholeheartedly that the bond you share with a travel group is very special...they become family. Please keep us updated.
We enjoyed the weather today too. We blew off a bit of work and ran around outside, it was heavenly.
I miss you!

Connie -- gorgeous photos, as always. I especially love the balance beam shots. And we, too, are extremely close with members of our travel group who grew to become our family. I said a quick prayer for Jolyn.

Hello sweet friend.... I will be praying for your friend...
What fun pictures of a beautiful day... isn't it wonderful how children can find the magic in the simple things.... these will be the things that will remain special even when they are adults...
Jeremy is in Peru with the mission team... It is going wonderfully and planting lots of "Seeds".... I am praying for a mighty harvest and they are ministering to the little children and were able to take lots of supplies and little toys.
Have a beautiful weekend my friend,
Love,
Daleea
