Wednesday and Thankful Thursday

We made a fun trip to the zoo today but I didn't really take many pics. We met a couple of other sweet families and so I am always on my toes to make sure Caitlyn and Jacob are on their best behavior and not alot of time for creativity;) We stayed extra long and skipped nap. They got a little grumpy around 1 ish but after the rest on the ride home, they have been out happily playing in the sandbox for over an hour. I think tomorrow is supposed to be stormy and we will have a quiet home day. Saturday is Chloe's dance recital. Friday is rehearsal so we have things to do both of those days.
I am going to do my Thankful Thursday post a tad early...
I am thankful for the friends we met at the zoo today. Its so wonderful to have fellowship with others who feel the same way about adoption as we all do. It just makes the time together extra special having that bond of love for orphans.I am thankful for the rain we have had lately. Last summer we had a terrible drought and were not allowed to play in the sprinklers, water the grass etc. Its been wonderful to have such a pretty Spring with plenty of little showers.
I am extremely thankful we have all been enjoying good health and have not been sick in forever. I praise God for this huge blessing. It's so good to serve the Lord in a well body.
Today I am thankful for Chloe. I am thankful for all of my Treasures, and am humbled God would put them in my care. Today though, I am specifically thankful for Chloe's giving, nurturing, helpful nature. I often think of her as a true gift from God because I prayed very hard for a Jacob and a Caitlyn but Chloe just kind of came to us in a whirlwind blessing. He knew I needed her. He knew they needed her. How blessed our family is to have a little Chloe. :) Thank you LORD!!!!!
Here are a few pics of Caitlyn I took while keeping her busy as Jacob and Chloe were having some reading time.

I am sure it is - I can just hear her laughing all the way across the state :D
It has been busy for everyone - but it always good to stop and reflect on how rich our lives are in the midst of such disaster that we have all felt this week.
Ladybug hugs,
;D

Dimples...
When we were in China(in an elevator)a gentleman commented on Jennifer's little dimple, he told us they were a kiss from an angel.
Caitlyn has been kissed beautifully!

How very precious! I love reading time & Chloe does have an infectious smile & laugh. I wish we could have spent more time together at the zoo. Gabriel was quiet bummed when I told him we had seen Jacob. We must get together soon!

What a sweet post.
I bet those little treasures enjoyed the zoo. I know exactly what you mean about keeping them on their toes with good behavior. I feel like I am constantly watching over my boys...to make sure they aren't miss behaving..too badly anyway. Boys will be boys you know. lol!
Lovely pictures once again.
Love the dimples!!
Have a great weekend!
