Saturday fun
We woke up it was a warm 70 degree high after a high of 32 Thursday, (very wierd) but we took full advantage. We decided we will try to visit a new park that we have never visited each pretty Saturday. Once Summer hits, we pretty much live out by the pool, so we thought this would be fun during the Spring. I did an internet search and made a list of parks we want to check out and we chose one and drove around an hour today, out to the countryside to get there. Ryan is so funny. He is all for city living, mind you... All the way there, the further out in the country you get, he starts his comments about how on earth, could these people possibly be happy???
We went to a park that had a nice stream and walking trails as well as playground equipment. They also had some really interesting trees that had been handcarved. The kids loved these. We stayed around 3 hours. The 3 young treasures found sticks and pretended to fish as well as threw rocks in the water, their favorite pastime whenever there is water around. They had a great day. Jacob fell in of course, being a boy and getting too close, so he walked around in soggy shoes and pants for much of the day. So now we are finishing off the day with pancakes for dinner and a bath and bed early after a long day with NO nap.
Of course I way over did pics, I can't stop myself and then I want to post them here, for our memories we have made. So sorry its so many...

First off, amazing pictures as always. I have a blogger question. I was wondering how you make the main part of your template (the white part) so wide? I can only make it as wide as the original blgger template.

I loved all the pictures! I am so jealous that it was 70 though... It was 45 when we left Indiana this morning and I thought it was a heat wave! Back to the highs in the 20s this week....booo!!
I hope you had a good Sunday!

I like your idea of driving further away to a park. We have several nice ones we often frequent, but it would be fun to experience those a little further away. Thanks for the idea!

Great Shots and I love that cool tree! You have to get them now while they will still let you! lol. Your very handsome older son seems to be a sport though. I think we will both be so very grateful that we have these shots of them while they are still not completely full grown. They are almost there so its like, hurry quick. But then mine will say, no pics or better not put that on your blog. URG. Every now and then they will forget to give me that caveat so boom, right no the blog with that one!!hahah

Looking forward to your next "park review."
