Sweet Sweet Steffie at Never to Many has given me the honor of adding the Blogging with a Purpose award to my trophy case... I am truly honored that she thought of me. The reason I began blogging is I wanted a place to journal about the Treasures and share pictures I take as I learn more and more about photography, I enjoy it so much. I did not even know about comments! I never dreamed when beginning that I would get to know many of you so well. I may never meet many of you, but I truly love visiting you and reading about your days, being able to pray with you, encourage you through a difficult time, cry with you, being able to be happy with you over a blessing that has occurred in your life, laugh with you over the funny moments our children bring.... and I am always glad to help anyone. The red thread connection has connected me to many of you and I am ever grateful for the kind comments, the thoughtfulness of many of you. Many of you inspire me. In different ways we all have unique gifts and our blogs are all a little different, but together I think we all make a pretty wonderful circle of bloggers! I think everyone on my side bar blogs with a purpose that I find meaningful in someway whether its to make me laugh or inspire me to be thankful for my surroundings, or letting me know about a fellow Christian in need that could use a prayer, some help, some encouragement.... or just a sweet post about their day. Your days do matter to me...
Thank you Steffie, I just cannot name 5 people., I love you all and don't want to hurt any of you and several I might have chosen were already named and have proudly posted their lovely award. So I will break this rule... I am a rebel;) and just will say again you all blog with a purpose as far as I am concerned....

A book I am enjoying

Now I wanted to share with you a book I am reading that has been inspirational! I went with the intention of purchasing Jesus Calling by Sarah Young a book several other blog buddies have mentioned. They were out and I was determined to buy a book! I will still be getting the Jesus Calling but wanted something to begin reading everyday, just a chapter to inspire, encourage, learn from.... This one jumped out at me A healing Touch by Melanie Hemry. This has been wonderful and just what I needed right now. I did not know exactly what to expect, but I am really enjoying it and it is calling me to a higher place. a closer relationship with Him....The author Melanie Hemry was a critical care nurse for years and shares some of the memorable moments and then gives you a little heart check at the end of each chapter. Takes around 20 min a day. I am loving it and doing it before bed I find myself thinking on Him as I go to sleep. Thinking on how I can be a healing touch to a hurting person out there.

After I typed this out Linette and Daleea were kind enough to honor me with yet another award! How sweet is that? 2 awards in one week? I am so blessed to have you all in my life and I thank you all for your bloggy friendships. They mean so much to me. I am feeling the love :)
