favorite photo Friday

one year ago

this summer

a few things that made me smile this week:

We had a bat on our back porch,(it was dead), it was SO yucky and evil looking! Ryan, my eldest treasure refused to get rid of it for me. I say, "Ryan what will you do when you go to college?" He replies,"The housekeeper people will get it!" My silver spooned son apparently. I suppose Daddy and I are the "housekeeper people" around here...
I took Jacob and Caitlyn to their favorite restaurant Logan's Roadhouse. You have buckets of peanuts at your table and you are allowed to throw the hulls in floor. When we leave we go to Children's Place across the street to shop, I notice when Jacob gets out of the car his pocket looks like there are 2 pair of socks in it. I say what is in your pocket!? He says, "peanuts." I tell him don't ever take that many again only take a few, and forget about it. I am busy selecting clothes for the girls and suddenly look on the ground and there are peanut hulls leaving a path behind us...
Caitlyn did something sweet, I don't even know what at this minute, but Chloe teared up and said "oh Caitlyn, touches my heart." How sweet is that... sisterly love...

        • OH, I love those beach pictures. How precious. I can hardly wait to take pictures of my TWO daughters together. The wait has been hard to endure this time with our second daughter.
I love seeing pics of your two together.

        • I love that you have the same photo a year later. It's just darling! I could so see my son filling his pockets with peanuts, hopefully they don't end up in the wash.

        • That's funny! How old is your son? He has to be close to my oldest. I could so see him doing the same thing.

I have often been known to respond to mine with, "exactly what makes me look like the maid?"

          Kids are so funny.
