princess

We interrupt beach pictures for an important Princess story. I promised Caitlyn a princess dress on the way home from the beach, when she was being such a perfect angel in her carseat, for the long ride home with no interruptions. Today, she and I went out early this morning to buy Ryan a birthday gift and stopped by Target as well. We went down the dressup aisle and she chose this one. She was so excited. She said "daddy will yub it! Coe will yub it!" with glee and happiness bubbling inside. All the way out to the car she said "oh so petty, tank you momma!"
I know alot of people call it the terrible twos but to me, its terrific twos. I love toddler thinking and baby talk and honestly, even though it can be a bit exasperating at times patience wise, I love her spiritedness and independence. It makes her daddy and I smile inside when we ask her to do something and she says "want to" (short for don't want to) with a pouty face. One little joke Danny and I have regarding her bubbly little self, is years ago, we were on the hunt for a puppy, and one we found (a cute little shih tzu), the owner described her as, "personality plus". So when ever she is just bursting with cuteness, or stubbornness, her daddy and I will look at one another and one will say, "she is just personality plus!" ;)
