Monday happenings
We had a nice Monday today. Ryan will turn 15 this week. I don't know how, but he will.
I spent alot of time with him today. Danny and I never buy one another Christmas, birthday, mom or dad day, or anniversary gifts. We just feel family and having one another is blessing enough on those occasions and don't have to get one another something material. We usually have a celebration, just without gifts. Anyway I told him I was going to splurge recently and purchased us a laptop for the family. It arrived today. Ryan and I were in sync and it was such a good memory, I want to remember it always and so I am blogging about it. DHL arrived at the door, I signed and Ryan and I went into the kitchen and opened it together. We were both all smiles and oohed and ahhed at the exact same time as we took it out of the package. We worked together installing programs we needed on it and getting to know how to operate it. It was just so enjoyable. He and I both sometimes feel locked up in our rooms when on the computer and now we can freely go anywhere in the house to be on it. My main pc has all of our business stuff on it and I hate for the kids to ever touch it for fear of messing something serious up. The laptop will be something we can all enjoy. Gadgets rarely excite me; but this one is sweeeet. So that is what made me smile today.
Ryan was never available when the kids were available for beach shots on our holiday so I didn't get any good ones of him. I have one of him eating icecream.:) I am going to force him out this week for a little birthday photo shoot.
I did not have alot of time to scrap today. Here is a page I came up with suddenly and I love it. Caitlyn loved watching her feet get covered with sand. While we were there, I also saw her darling footprints in the sand and took a photo; so the background is her precious little footprint that I want to cherish always...

What a great photo! Love that you captured her precious footprint. Isn't it crazy how fast they grow? Our oldest will be turning 12-not 15-but still time just flies! Congratulations on your laptop!
