weekend photos

Other news of the day:
Jacob decided to try and cook his own breakfast this morning. I have been letting he and Chloe cook poptarts and ego waffles so he decided on his own he could move up and cook in the microwave. He found a frozen corndog and who knows how many minutes he put it in for, but suddenly he comes into the bedroom where the rest of us were crying, saying his corn dog is burning. We run in there and the kitchen is full of smoke! I can't believe our smoke alarms weren't going off. When we opened the microwave the corndog was black and hollow. The house has smelled terrible all day. I went to Yankee Candles earlier to buy a candle that was really strong to try and help. Danny and I both couldn't help but laugh though at the looks of the poor corndog.

She does look like an angel. I was changing one of the pictures on my last post and thought I would see if you had anything new. What a great pose to capture! You definitely have talent!

Beautiful pictures!
I'm wondering if the corn dog smelled worse than badly burnt popcorn?

I didn't notice the part about the corndog. It's good you can laugh about it and it's great he tried. Poor thing. No ideas for the smell..Yankee candle sounds great but might need extra powerful...I will try to think of something--everything that comes to mind is nasty(like bleach).

Oh gracious! I bet that smelled GOOD. When Cameron was about 2, he climbed up on the counter and put a bag of popcorn in the microwave and pressed some buttons (I suspect 99:99). LOL Oh man, the smoke was horrible and the house reeked for days. Gotta love little boys! I hope the smell has left the building;)
