Saturday
We are off to the beach for a week of sand and sun. The kids have been SO excited this week about the trip. I am less anxious this year than last years annual trip. Last year I was concerned about Caitlyn feeling insecure because we were in a different place for bedtime and her communication skills weren't there yet and so I knew she would worry some, particularly at night. I saw a big difference in the next 6 months when we went on a Disney trip in her attachment. She was much more relaxed about bedtime; so for this trip I know she will be fine.
Here are a few pics of the girls in outfits that I had made for them after seeing the gorgeous Ana Claire modeling hers; you can see Ana Claire here:
Young Party of Five: Ballpark fun and playing with HG
I got carried away and took too many, but I enjoy looking at them anyway... I love the pink with the brown. I have a few more but will save some for later, as not to bore you with too much at once.
I will post pics of the trip Fri night when we get home. I am excited about beach pics! I got the girls a couple of pretty sun dresses for the annual photo shoot. Danny found a great spot to go last year for pics where it is very quiet. He already said the other day "Am I going to have to see you with that camera the entire trip? :)" He actually loves my masterpieces, he was just joking... He drives all of his customers bananas with his little handy dandy photo book he carries with him to work, I am sure. If he can get them to sit through the photobook he then tells them to check out the blog. ;)
Something that made me smile today: I love the way Caitlyn says fishy. She has a fish float and when we were packing, she went down and got it and said "pishy daddy, pishy!" wanting to make sure we took it with us. Baby talk is so sweet to my ears.
