a few favorites of my little treasure
They have 3 or 4 lines open and 5 dozen people wanting to check out. I held Caitlyn the entire 30 minutes as she wanted down and she is very headstrong about such things believe me! My arms got their workout for the week. Also as Caitlyn is doing her flips and wild moves in my arms, the cashier does not help put any bags in the buggy, nor the 24 pack of water. She just stands there looking at me with this lazy attitude...Thats the kind of thing that ticks me off. At our local Publix they are bending over backwards to put everything in your buggy for you and take it out to the car for you as well. They are disappointed if I come in without my kids. They want to talk to them, give them candy, coloring books etc. I get interrogated if I come in without at least Caitlyn...
At WalMart today, Chloe was an angel. She stood their perfectly and was my reminder that this too shall pass and Caitlyn will grow up into a lovely little girl with patience as well. I did think though, of how frustrating it might be to a mother that did not have a sweet little reminder there beside them that this is only a season. I can remember when taking Chloe and Jacob to a store could be a challenge for the day as well. I, as an adult alone, without the kids, am not crazy about the idea of a 30 minute line; so I can't blame Caitlyn for showing her distaste for it. I truly love her spunk, her strength, my little stinker. Whom is now taking a nap, which I also am very thankful for! A wonderful thing... Nap time. It gives mommy's a chance to re energize for the afternoon!

Lines in stores can be crazy-love the sweet pictures. It is good to have the older kids to remind us that the little ones will not always be wild:)

Beautiful pictures...
I feel for you as I know exactly what you are talking about... gets quite frustrating! I am not the best example of patience for my children either.... Perhaps 1000 times more at WalMart and I will have aquired patience after all. heehee

I am in the "Chloe" season as all of mine are older and stand in line patiently (for the most part). BUT...I am about to be back in the "Caitlyn" season with our TWO 2-year olds coming soon! Here I come, Publix!
Love,
Laine
