memory lane

I thought we would take another trip down memory lane today... They are scanned in so the quality is only so-so. The first couple are the moment we met Jacob and Chloe, they brought them to us almost immediately upon arrival. We were quite overwhelmed! We were in Guatemala to complete Jacob's adoption and bring him home. We were visiting with Chloe for a couple of days and she had to stay in Guatemala until her adoption was complete. We are so thankful for the time we had with her as an infant. We so wish we had gone to visit Jacob. We could have taken him some formula and desperately needed items, and given him some deperately needed tlc. Anyway he is 8 months old in the picture and Chloe is 2 weeks old. The next one is when Danny went to Guatemala to bring Chloe home. They had her dressed to perfection and took such wonderful care of her. She was spoiled absolutely rotten. The next pic was taken the day after she came home. I finally had a little princess! I was so in awe of how tiny she was. She was 13lb and 6 months old. Very petite. Somehow when they send you pics of your child they always seem so much bigger and older than when you get them in your arms.
