continuing stroll down memory lane

The top is one of my favorite pages of Jacob.
The bottom is the first weekend Chloe was home and we were going to church as a family. I had bought her the dress in hopes she would be home for Easter and she had missed it by a couple of weeks. I really thought my family was complete... It wasn't until Chloe was 18 months old that the Lord would put in my heart, a STRONG desire for Chloe to have a sister. It was a VERY strong desire. I prayed and researched several countries. Ultimately Danny and I both knew our daughter was in China. Everytime we saw a family with a child from China the dream would be reignited. Anytime I would think about just giving up through paperwork delays etc. I would see a family out and about with a little girl or boy from China and the desire would just be strong in my bones! It took from 18 months until Chloe was 4 for the dream to be fullfilled. I am sooo thankful for my Caitlyn. She came home at the absolute perfect time and was the perfect sister/daughter for this family. God's timing is always so perfect.
