Wednesday
Caitlyn never tires of water fun. She LOVES the water hose. I love to watch her have fun with such simple things.

Chloe has fell in love with the book, Little House in the Big Woods. I am so glad because I have been trying to get this child to love books and the magic of reading for a long time. Listening to the audio book made the book come alive to her. Now she wants to read her "My first Little House books" on her own and she pretends she is Laura in her playtime. So cute to see her pretend to quilt or churn butter:).
One other book that has really filled our Summer is
ABC Bible Verses

We have ALOT of devotional and bible books and this one has really stuck out and been a FAVORITE and one I highly recommend. I think the title might make one think its just a book of memory verses, but that is not the case. Each letter does have a verse but there is a story about two little children, Bill and Missy that gives an example of how to use the verse in everyday life. For example the letter D is the verse Philippians 2:14-15 "Do all things without complaining and disputing" and Missy has the task of putting out the garbage and she is complaining and not happy about it. Her mom tells her about this verse and has a conversation with her about gratefulness and Missy changes her attitude.
The Treasures have looked forward to the story of the day from this book every day and wanted to read many over and over again. All through the day I find myself saying "What would Bill do?" or "What would Missy do?" and it is getting into their little hearts slowly but surely.

I love seeing what fun things you all are doing. I loved the Little House books when I was a girl too.
I will have to look into that devotional book, I have never heard of it before.

We ordered that book as soon as we got back home and we already have it and love it! Thank you for showing it to me:)
Mine love the water also...they could play in it forever! Caitlyn is adorable no matter what she is doing.
I am so thankful Chloe is loving reading and that the "Little House" books have given her a love for books. I love them also and can't wait to read them to the girls. It will feel like I am a young girl all over again;)
