Close-Ups
The Pixel Fairy Princess totally inspired me this week with some gorgeous images she shot of her Princess. They were some of the prettiest I have ever seen. So I had to torture the girls and practice a little;)

For anyone that wants to know, the lens was the 50 1.4 I had the aperture at 2.2 and we had a window very nearby for natural light, no flash. ISO was at 400. I shot them in AV which is aperture priority. I edited them just a bit in photoshop elements with a glow action on the color that I purchased from scrap girls and the black and white action is a rose gold from photoblast.
both were pretty inexpensive.

that first one! *gasp* It's gorgeous. Catchlights are so hard in Asian eyes I've found. I get them almost every time with the boys, but Katie?! Man, it's hard. You really have to work for it.
Gorgeous girls. I adore close ups.

So beautiful. They would look stunning in a frame that scales downward with a slot for each photo.

Oh... gorgeous portraits... love them... I have just got a new little camera (courtesy of a company Mike deals with) a Canon PowerShot 8.0 - I am not going to sneeze at a free camera... just need a new stick with more memory... I am still learning my cameras and don't think that I will ever stop learning... I love it... I think that I need a 12 step program..
