Saturday
We had a really fun day. So nice, just spending time together. The weather is just perfect for any outdoor activity. We decided to go hiking at a park that has waterfalls. We had gone back in the Spring and had such a good time.
We got home and Daddy has gone to watch football with a friend so I put in Mary Poppins for the Treasures and worked on a scrap layout and edited a few of today's pics.
I suppose everyone's favorite highlight of today, was feeding the baby deer and their parents. We loved being so close with them and they were so tame and friendly, licking the Treasures fingers. The babies were so young, they did not even have teeth yet. The kids just love being outdoors period. No one was ready to come home.
I will share some more of the garden pics next time. I of course took way too many as always, but I am always practicing...Caitlyn and Chloe love flowers so I can always get a ton of practice if we walk through any garden area. One day we were having a little bible study and we were discussing ways we see God even though we can't literally see Him and we were discussing the fact that by looking at nature we see His handiwork and see a part of Him. As we spoke of flowers being one way to see God, Chloe had to add in that God made the flowers "smellyish" and that we can smell God too.;) So fun to hear what they come up with...
Hope you all had a nice Saturday as well...

I love this smile, its so Caitlyn...

Connie- just beautiful. Your photos are stunning and your subjects completely beautiful- each one!
Love visiting your family- always makes me smile.
Connie- what camera do you shoot with- your shots are amazing.
And I would love you to post about your digital scraping. I am a traditional scrapper- but would love hints on how to start etc. What system you use. Your layouts are unbelievable- love each one.
Thanks and have a great week.

This really was a beautiful place and what an inspiring mother you are to remind them who made all of these things for their viewing (and smellyishing pleasure)....our Maker and Creator!
I often feel lately that your children are growing up too fast, I guess it is when I see Caitlyn with Chloe and Jacob.
