a few beach favs
Haven't had a lot of time to go through, but here are a few I love and need to edit more, but wanted to share. We have had a pretty nice trip. Even though we are pretty far from Ike, we did have some high surf warnings and a day where we could not go to the beach at all. The Treasures have had to be really cautious playing in the ocean, which is difficult for my little fish. They have no fear and think we are being mean when we keep saying come back, you are getting too far. I am hoping today its down and they can actually get out there and have fun.
Chloe hit her lip on the bottom of the pool the first day and got a tiny scrape; she is used to our pool and misjudged her diving and forgot that this pool is rougher on the bottom. Caitlyn fell yesterday and got a boo-boo underneath her eye; ugh...so I did not do many closeups. I like candid photos when they are having fun anyway, I love snapping away when they are busy instead of forcing them to pose. I will share more later. : )

Connie,
These are such awesome shots of your treasures at the beach. The rough waters and beautiful sky made the perfect backdrop for these great action shots. They are perfect!!
I'm glad to hear you had a great trip and weren't in any immediate danger of Ike.

Oh and sorry about all of the boo boo's. When Elisabeth was six we took the kids to Ixtapa (sp?) and she hit her nose in the pool on the first day and it bled and bled and bled. Then for the next two days she kept bumping it and it would bleed and bleed.
She had the blondest and curliest hair and those hispanic men working at the hotel would just fall all over her bringing her free ice cream and asking her if she was okay. lol

Connie, You are so talented! I love these pictures. Are you still down there or did you come home already? Destin is my favorite place on the Gulf Coast! Those waves look fierce!

Did I miss what beach you are at? It is gorgeous!! The waves are huge! I love the two girls (dancing?) Everyone looks like they are having such a good time! I think a trip to the beach is worth it for pictures alone!
Well, the beach AND the mountains! When are you going to bring the treasures to tackle Pike's Peak?

Connie - I love them all! They are superb! I am happy you have been able to relax with your family and enjoy each other in the sand...minus of course the time when there were warnings.
I agree with Michelle, the rough water and cloudy sky make for amazing effect in some of those shots.
Girlie, don't ever put that camera down, you are a natural talent - God has blessed you with the gift:)
Have a great week.
Love,
Heather
