saying goodbye to summer...
It seems the scorching hot days are over. We are having pleasant mornings and evenings now. It wa so odd how it was so hot and suddenly, it is just gone. The kids are able to go out again to the porch, the playground; their daddy took them to the park this morning while I did some required volunteer time at Ryan's co-op...I think we will venture out to the zoo in the next few days. I am sure Caitlyn is ready for a choo-choo ride. With the holiday Monday, the week seemed to fly by. I went browsing through my beach pics and chose a few favorites to post as we say hello to Fall.

I always enjoy the end of summer when things start cooling off. We have a front coming in on Wednesday that will cool things off to the low 80's. The evening will be in the 60's. That's pretty soon for Texas.

It makes me sad to say good bye to summer! I love summer so much. But I also love fall and am ready for some cooler weather myself. This break from the 100 temps has been nice!
I love your beach pics, Connie! Very pretty!

I wish we'd get some of that nice weather here. We're still in the 90's, but the humidity is down a bit. It'll be here soon.
