mischief

Sometimes you just have to wonder how something soo cute can cause so much trouble...
This is what Publix looked like when we left yesterday. They don't mind a bit if we do our shopping at Walmart from now on
Caitlyn being the wonderful helper she is, was putting the heavy gallon of milk up on the conveyor belt to pay and it dropped and busted. They had to move several candy aisles, a soda refrigerator and magazine racks to clean the entire huge mess.

The potty has been flushing funny a couple of days. I told Danny there was probably a toy in there. He never did anything and this morning the toilet ran over big time. We had a nice mess to clean up as well as a quick run to the hardware store for new parts for the toilet after pulling it up to get the toy out. At least he had an experienced helper to work with.

  • Oh, I feel your pain sista...BUT because *this* time I am not the mommy of the person that caused the mess, I am ROTFL.

  • Oh My! I guess there is never a dull moment at your house. When my dh saw the toilet photo he wondered if he had to take the toiet up.

  • I just read your post over on my blog. Poor guy. Did you ever find out what kind of toy she put in the toilet?

  • it was a little pretend hamburger bun (kitchen toy)
It was laying flat over the place where everything is supposed to be able to go out. :) When I started taking pictures he had that crazed daddy look, but then when she started climbing on his back to "help" he can't stay aggravated long.
Honestly, we went to visit a family in the hospital not long ago that had a beautiful daughter adopted from China; she went home to be with Jesus the very next day. Ever since, I always tell Danny when the kids break something or tear something up, that I know that daddy only wishes he had a mess to clean up :(:(:(

  • WOW! Your last post made me cry. My heart breaks for that family. That sure does help though to put things into prespective when they do the little things that aggrivate you.
