sisters

It was a little cool here today, but sunny. We are looking forward to the upcoming week. It is supposed to be gorgeous everyday according to the forecast. We have a zoo trip scheduled for Wed. I don't think Danny will make his deadline on the treehouse. He will probably need one more long day or a few afternoons... He always comes up with more ideas and adding things on. He will most likely have a big screen tv in it by the time he is done! ;) Caitlyn is doing better at church the past few weeks. For a while I had to take a long break because it just was not her thing. The only disruption now is needing to potty every 15 minutes. Really she just wants to go explore the bathroom; but you know, you can't take the chance, you have to go everytime. Chloe is the best big sister. She plays with Caitlyn SO well. Their love for one another is growing everyday...Its so sweet to hear Caitlyn call, Coey!! Coey!! God is so good! And so good to this momma... These kids bring me such joy. Oh also, I received an update on our 2 Compassion kids from Guatemala we sponsor, yesterday. We have been sponsoring them 3 years now. When I first began sponsoring them the little girl at only 4 years old wrote me and told me she desired a television! Bless her darling heart; of course Danny and I have no way to get her things like that; we can only send money and the pastor there takes the family shopping for needs... Danny and I did say a prayer that day asking God to answer Berly's request. I get letters and pictures of them regularly and the pictures always have them holding or standing beside the gifts they went to purchase with the money I send over and above my sponsorship for them to go to school/ I have seen them get a stove, clothes, roofing supplies, blankets, beds etc... Well yesterday my darling Berly was standing beside a little television! I was so happy for her. Not that I think television is the best thing for someone to have neccessarily; sometimes I think my home would be a better place without one! :) but just seeing God answer prayer and using my finances to do it brought me joy. If anyone is ever looking for an organization to sponsor a child through, Compassion is wonderful. It is over on my side links.
