First offical post of the year

ok this will be my first offical post :)
We are in the middle of winter, it is cold, and we are getting tired of being cooped up.
Homeschooling is going well for Jacob and Chloe. They have succeeded at reading most short vowel words and over 30 service words. Next week they will begin learning about long vowels. Then they will be on their way to reading any book they pick up and are interested in.
Jacob can count to 100 by single numbers as well as by 10's. Chloe is my artist. She loves to color and draw.
Ryan is homeschooling for the first time. He did well this past semester but is kind of getting lonely for some socialization. We are considering a co-op that meets 2 days a week next year. It should be a good balance. They have an accelerated curriculum and all prof/teachers that have taught in college or school. I am hoping it is the answer for him. He will most likely continue to see his tutor he has been seeing this year 1 day a week for 1 on 1 time in math.
Caitlyn is our angel. Our light everyday. She has grown and doing amazingly well her first year home... She is speaking one word sometimes 2 words at a time. She climbs EVERYWHERE. She is very determined and a hard worker. You have to keep your eye on her and be on your toes with her every waking moment. She is about 3/4 potty trained. She is a delight and such a blessing. She is FULL of life. Everytime Danny or I look into those little Asian eyes we both melt.
